🎓 Herzlich willkommen bei NETSTAL Maschinen AG!

⚡ 72 closures in just 1.8 seconds | all-electric! 🚀

Our new Elion 3200 CAP will celebrate its premiere at . Designed for high-performance beverage closure production, it combines outstanding speed, precision and energy efficiency. Equipped with a 72-cavity mold, the machine produces 26 mm HDPE closures in an amazing cycle time of just 1.8 seconds.

Key highlights include:

✅ All-electric 3,200 kN clamping unit
✅ Optimised toggle geometry
✅ New electric injection unit 2000
✅ Consistent shot weights, even at the shortest cycle times
✅ Intelligent load distribution for additional energy savings of up to 5%

We are gradually transitioning the Elion series to its new platform. The existing 1,200 and 1,750 kN clamping units are now joined by 3,200 and 4,200 kN versions and the electric injection unit 2000. A 2,200 kN unit and electric injection unit 940 will follow in summer 2027. Proven hybrid solutions remain available, enabling all-electric or hybrid configurations up to 4,200 kN.

This means the Elion range will offer maximum freedom of choice up to 4,200 kN: all-electric or hybrid – whichever best suits the application.

Yesterday, we hosted our information day SKZ + Netstal “Quality in Injection Molding – Requirements and Innovative Solutions for Medical Technology.”

It was a successful day filled with insightful expert presentations, practical perspectives, and valuable exchange among industry professionals. One key takeaway became clear: European technology providers are driving innovation in medical plastics processing - from advanced materials and precision injection molding to automation, quality assurance, and AI-supported process optimization.

More control, higher quality, and maximum efficiency: Sokpol is now bringing beverage closure production in-house with a turnkey system solution from Netstal.

The Polish beverage manufacturer made the strategic decision to bring a key packaging component closer to its own production operations. The goal: consistent quality, uniform design, and greater supply reliability.

As part of a comprehensive evaluation of various technology partners, Sokpol deliberately chose Netstal. Key reasons included the high performance and robust design of the hybrid Elion 3200, the convincing overall concept, and the close collaboration with Corvaglia and IMD vista.

At the heart of the system is a Netstal Elion 3200 equipped with a 48-cavity mold from Corvaglia and downstream equipment from IMD vista. The system produces a 38-mm easy-open cap for aseptic filling with a cycle time of well under 4 seconds. The closures are fed directly into a high-speed Krones filling line for iced tea and juice.

For Sokpol, this means:
✅ stable, industrialized production
✅ better control over quality and design
✅ reduced dependence on external suppliers
✅ lower production costs
✅ stronger competitiveness in the international market

🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️ A first for us: taking part in Krones’ Tour d’Europe!

This year, we joined the Krones Tour d’Europe for the very first time. Throughout May, many of our employees from our Switzerland headquarters and our entities around the world really got pedalling.

Whether commuting to work, going shopping, cycling at the weekend or even while on holiday: every kilometre counted. Together, we showed great energy, team spirit and motivation.

And there was an extra incentive: the person who covered the greatest distance will take home the coveted Krones trophy. 🏆

A big thank you to everyone who took part for their commitment, endurance and sporting spirit. We’re already looking forward to the next round! 💪🚲

At FIP 2026 in Lyon, Netstal will showcase the new generation of Elion - live in a fully integrated medical production solution for high-volume autoinjector housings used in GLP-1 drug delivery.

With the all-electric Elion 1200 MED at its core, the system demonstrates what modern injection molding production is all about: shortest cycle times, outstanding process stability, high precision and reduced energy consumption.
