🇨🇭 🇦🇺 We were pleased to welcome Ambassador Nikolas Stürchler and Consul General Elisabeth Bösch Malinen from the Embassy of Switzerland in Australia (Embassy of Switzerland in Canberra / Consulate General in Sydney) to our offices in Melbourne.

The visit was an opportunity to share how supports a wide range of industries that contribute to Australia's economic development, while exchanging perspectives on innovation, sustainability, manufacturing, and supply chains. 💁‍♂️ Meet Devashish Kolte. As an intern in our Sustainability Affairs team, Devashish combines technical curiosity with a genuine passion for sustainability. He contributes significantly to our Portfolio Value Program (PVP), co-leading the further digitalization of the assessment methodology. He also leads the development of an assistant for PVP assessments, built on Clariant’s own AI assistant, Clarita.

🌍 This , we're proud of how far our roots have grown. Since 2023, we've partnered with the Associação Ambientalista Copaíba to restore riparian forests in the Peixe River and Camanducaia River basins. And this February, we received our 2025 Planting Certificate – a milestone that reflects real progress: 3,030 m² of land restored 🌱 646 seedlings planted, ♻️ absorbing ~100 tons of CO₂ every year.

Through the Araçá Project, we go beyond planting – welcoming environmental technical students for hands-on learning and connecting our community to nature. And we're not stopping there. In 2026, through the Clariant Foundation, we'll build the first phase of an Environmental Education Center, welcome 2,000 public school students into immersive learning, and restore 30 hectares of Atlantic Forest – an area we call the Clariant Forest. 💚

📚🏫 At the Foundation, we support education projects that create real opportunities. Together with KKEV Cambodia, which runs a children’s village and education programs near Phnom Penh, we’re helping vulnerable students stay in school and move forward with confidence.

Since early 2026, additional tutoring classes for grades 7–12 led to a strong improvement: pass rates increased from 59% to nearly 89%. 👩‍🎓🎒 Beyond school, three young women from the program have started university degrees in fields like finance and HR, while gaining practical work experience alongside their studies.
