Over the next few weeks, we’re delighted to welcome Kelvin, a bachelor’s thesis student from HEI-VS, to our team.

Under the guidance of our R&D Team Leader, Maël Forestal, Kelvin will contribute to a high-level industrial project in the specialized field of metrology — gaining valuable hands-on experience to support his transition into the professional world.

Bridging the gap between academic learning and industry is a key milestone for every engineer. At TESA Technology we are proud to support and mentor the next generation of talent as they take this important step forward.

A special thank you to Maël for supporting and mentoring the engineers of tomorrow.

We had the pleasure of welcoming a class from the Microtechnology program at HEIG-VD (Haute Ecole d'Ingénierie et de Gestion du Canton de Vaud) (School of Engineering and Management Vaud) to our TESA Technology office in Renens, Switzerland.

It was a great opportunity to share our expertise in precision mechanics. The students enjoyed a guided tour of our machining workshops, where they were able to discover our manufacturing processes firsthand.

We also introduced them to advanced measurement techniques during a training session in our dedicated room, showcasing our high-precision metrology instruments.

We would like to thank the students and faculty for their interest and engagement — it was a pleasure to host you. Special thanks also go to our colleagues for sharing their knowledge and passion with the next generation of professionals.

Today’s visit from our former colleagues reminded us of that once again. They are no longer officially part of the company, but they are always with us in their hearts - and in ours. They keep coming back, bringing new ideas, new projects, and the same positive energy ✨.

We honored both Georg Lendi, who joined TESA in 1959 and was promoted to Technical Director before retiring in 1998, and Nitin Shankar, who joined TESA in 1979 in India, moved to Switzerland in 1988, worked in various sales functions, and retired in 2004. Both have truly made TESA history.

This is what truly builds quality.
