[ ] We are pleased to announce that our colleagues from 3A Composites Shanghai will join the regional distributors C10 during JEC Forum Southeast Asia 2026, taking place in Taipei from June 23–24.

Through dedicated one-to-one meetings, the forum offers a valuable opportunity to exchange with industry professionals, discuss application needs, and explore how our AIREX®, BALTEK® and ENGICORE® core material solutions can support lightweight, high-performance composite applications across different markets.

[ ] The Core Materials business delivered a strong and resilient performance over the past months. While the wind energy market continued to gain momentum – once again led by China – the marine and industry segments faced more challenging conditions.

Our balsa business stood out, thriving on the strength of its fully integrated value chain, from seed to carefully crafted, high-quality shaped solutions. At the same time, we made meaningful progress in expanding our PET and balsa kitting capabilities in China and maximizing the share of recycled PET in our materials, reinforcing our commitment to more sustainable solutions.

These results reflect the discipline and dedication across the business and we are proud of our teams around the world, whose passion and unwavering support continue to elevate your applications to new levels of expertise.

To support local birdlife, we have installed birdhouses across our facilities, providing safe, dedicated nesting spaces. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to promoting biodiversity, a key pillar of environmental responsibility.

It’s a small gesture, but one that reflects a bigger mindset: making space for nature, even in industrial environments. From small local actions to a broader sustainability mindset, we are committed to fostering a more balanced coexistence between industry and nature.

♻️ Closing the loop across our European production sites! At 3A Composites Core Materials, we are proud to share significant milestones in advancing circularity within our operations:

• PET waste from the JMB Poland kitting operation collected and reused in extrusion plants in Poland & Switzerland
• Over 1,200 metric tons of PET were additionally recycled in 2025, saving approximately 3,000 tons CO₂eq in Scope 3 emissions as well as costs
• Post-consumer rPET supply secured and expanded without restricting color grades
• Closed-loop system supports a significant increase in recycled PET (rPET) content (up to 100%)

Most importantly, all of this has been achieved without compromising product performance or properties, benefiting customers’ sustainability goals.
