For Dr. Tammo Zobel, the answer is clear: it’s never just one component.
Real innovation happens when mechanics, control engineering and software are developed together as one integrated system.

Since February 2025, Tammo has been leading technical development at Tool-Temp. In our latest interview, he shares insights from his first months in this role and explains why interdisciplinary collaboration is key to the next generation of temperature control technology.

With a background in control engineering and international research experience at RWTH Aachen, ETH Zurich and UC Berkeley, he brings a strong systems perspective to developing intelligent monitoring and control technologies such as IRIS.
