From the Mechanics lead at ZUR to Production Developer at Hitachi Energy — this is David‘s way! 💪

We have spent the day following David and his superior, Falko Schietzsch, the Head of GIS Operation, around their workplace and learning more about Hitachi’s philosophy. 🤩

It is clear as day — the same as they have been supporting us at Zurich UAS Racing, Hitachi Energy wants to support young talent on their way to becoming professionals with their Power+ Trainee Program.

Do you want to work on gas-insulated switchgears (GIS) like David and Falko? ⚒️

If that is not your thing, don’t worry. The program offers positions that range from Marketing to Legal to Reaserch and Development, there is a space for every talent!

Get in touch with Hitachi Energy now and find out more! ⚡️

Find someone who looks at you the way we look at the ZUR05. 👀🏎️

A little bit of obsession, a lot of admiration, and countless hours of work behind the scenes. We might be biased, but we think she’s pretty hard to look away from 😉

September and a successful season may be behind us, but the next chapter is already underway. 💙

Across all divisions, preparations for ZUR07 are in full swing. Finance is launching a new accounting system and seeking new partners; Electrics is working on hardware and Driverless solutions; and Mechanics is pushing forward with fresh ideas and innovations. 🔧

We’ve also expanded beyond the workshop, welcoming students at our Open Workshop Day and adding many new talents to the team. 🏎️💨

With a new leadership team and exciting projects ahead, we can’t wait to see what this season will bring. Stay tuned! 👀✨

The new season has barely started, but our Mechanics team is already in full flow. 🔧 Twice a month, they come together for a Working Saturday to share their knowledge with our new members and get our new car ready on time. Hard work, shared know-how, and burgers in the sun to fuel it. 🍔

Doors open, Workshop full🔧🏎️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our workshop! 🙌

We loved showing you where our race car comes to life, sharing the stories behind the build, and answering all your questions. Seeing so many people excited about what we do is exactly what keeps us going.

💪 See you at the next one!

Fuel for race week. 🥣🏎️ Long days at the track call for a quick and easy breakfast and snack inbetween. That’s why we teamed up with N’OATS, a start-up from Bern bringing overnight oats straight to our race weeks.

Quick to prepare, packed with nutrients and ready when we need them. Whether it’s before scrutineering, a long day in the pits or an early morning at the track. ⚡

Thanks to N’OATS for keeping our team fueled throughout the season! 💙
