New capability unlocked: ANYmal can now open doors🤖🚪

Together with dormakaba and LEGIC, we are enabling ANYmal to pass securely through automated doors and continue its autonomous inspection missions.

Validated at GE Vernova’s Whitegate Power Station, this is another step toward greater autonomy across industrial sites.

Over the past decade, we have built legged robots, taken them offshore, advanced how walking machines learn, and certified ANYmal for explosive atmospheres. We have seen our robots become trusted coworkers in industrial plants, taking care of routine inspections so people can focus on the work that needs their experience and judgment.

We are incredibly proud of what our team, customers, and partners have achieved together. Years of engineering and deployments have built a strong foundation, and there is much more ahead as robotics and AI continue to reshape industrial work.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey. There is much more to come.

Say hello to Lysia 👋

That’s the name Eurolysine gave to their ANYmal robot, now up and running on site.

Eurolysine’s 40-hectare production site is located in Amiens, France. As the only Europe-based producer of amino acids by fermentation, energy efficiency is a key priority for the site. Lysia is helping the team track down leaks, inspect areas that are harder to reach, and collect data close to the equipment.

We won the Most Impactful Real-World Deployment award at the Davos Tech Summit! This award belongs to the incredible people at ANYbotics whose dedication, curiosity, and hard work keep pushing what’s possible every day. And how awesome is this drone show featuring our ANYmal!✨Thank you for the recognition

Night shift at a 150-year-old cement plant… but the one doing the rounds is a robot 🤖🏭
ANYmal has been patrolling Vigier Ciment’s Péry plant, running inspections across multiple floors and spotting issues before they turn into expensive shutdowns (including a crack nobody noticed until the robot did 👀).

¡Hola Barcelona! 🇪🇸

Here’s a look inside our brand-new office. Barcelona officially joins Zurich and San Francisco as our third global hub.

Located at the DFactory Barcelona Industry 4.0 campus, this new space expands our engineering capacity as our teams develop the next generation of software, perception, and autonomy systems for ANYmal.

We are thrilled to be part of Barcelona’s thriving robotics community!

Still thinking about the conversations we had at in Pittsburgh 🏭.

At the booth, we met steel producers and industry partners to talk about on-site priorities like inspection and maintenance safety, better operational visibility, and reducing the time people spend in high‑risk areas at steel mills.

A highlight off the show floor: we hosted a dinner together with North Star BlueScope Steel, focused on safety and loss prevention with a deep dive into EAF autonomous furnace-bottom inspections — what makes them challenging, where traditional approaches fall short, and what it takes to capture actionable data without sending people into hazardous environments.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and shared insights with our team.

Starting the year together as One Team!

Our A-Day brought everyone together to align, collaborate, and celebrate how we work as one.
From building chain reactions to sparking creative ideas, it was a reminder that innovation truly happens when we connect, have fun, and think beyond the ordinary.
