The APUA General Secretariat, headed by its Director General, Eng. Abel Didier TELLA, participated in the Nuclear Energy Innovation Summit for Africa (NEISA 2026), currently taking place from May 18 to 21, 2026, at the Kigali Convention Center in Rwanda. Organized by the Rwanda Atomic Energy Board (RAEB), this high-level summit brings together Heads of State from Rwanda, the host Country, President Paul Kagame, the President of Tanzania, Ms. Samia Suluhu Hassan, and the President of the Governing Council of Togo, Faure Essouzimna Gnassingbé, as well as regulators, technology providers, nuclear service decision-makers, and global investors. The main theme of the summit is:
Powering Africa's Future: Turning Nuclear Energy Ambition into Investable Reality.
The main objective of this summit is to move African civil nuclear energy beyond mere political discussions to structure bankable projects and bridge the energy gap with a common orientation, appropriate financing approaches and structured deployment strategies, particularly for the continent's small modular reactors and modular microreactors.

Le Secrétariat Général de l'ASEA, à sa tête son Directeur Général, l'Ing. Abel Didier TELLA a participé au Sommet sur l'innovation en énergie nucléaire pour l'Afrique (NEISA 2026) qui se déroule actuellement du 18 au 21 Mai 2026 au Convention Center Kigali, au Rwanda, organisé par le Rwanda Atomic Energy Board ( c), ce sommet de haut niveau réunit des Chefs d'Etat du Rwanda Pays hôte, le Président Paul Kagame, la Présidente de la Tanzanie, Mme Samia Suluhu Hassan et le Président du Conseil de Gouvernement du Togo, Faure Essouzimna Gnassingbé, des Régulateurs, des fournisseurs de technologies, des Décideurs des services Nucléaires et des Investisseurs Mondiaux sur le thème principal :
Alimenter l'avenir de l'Afrique: Transformer l'ambition nucléaire en réalité concrète.
L'objectif principal de ce sommet est de sortir le nucléaire civil africain des simples discussions politiques pour structurer des projets bancables et de combler le déficit énergétique avec une orientation commune, des approches de financement adaptées et des stratégies de déploiement structurées, notamment pour les petits réacteurs modulaires et les microréacteurs modulaires du Continent.
