Uhmwpe sheet material characteristics: wear resistance, good low temperature impact resistance, self-lubrication, water resistance, outstanding impact resistance, stress crack resistance, high temperature creep resistance, low friction coefficient, self-lubrication, noise damping, etc. The use temperature is 100℃. It has good cold resistance and can be used at -269℃. A product with a density of 0.985g/cm3 and a molecular weight of 4 million has a tensile strength at break of 50MPa, an elongation at break of 400%, and a flexural modulus of 600MPa. The Izod beam notch impacts continuously.
Main performance:

High wear resistance. As the molecular weight of polyethylene increases, the material becomes more wear-resistant.
Impact resistance. The impact strength of UHMWPE sheet is related to its molecular weight. When the molecular weight is less than 2 million, the impact strength increases as the molecular weight increases, reaching a peak at about 2 million. At this time, after the peak, the molecular weight increases and the impact strength increases. Will fall. This is because the molecular chain impedes its photocrystalline function very often, so that there is a large amorphous region in the macromolecule, which can absorb greater impact energy.
Lower friction coefficient. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is very wear-resistant, has low friction coefficient and good self-lubrication. It is an ideal material for bearing bushings, sliding blocks, sliding plates and linings.
