He argued that redefining the signalling system boundaries – rather than adding more wayside hardware – is the key to resolving rail operators’ most pressing trade-offs, and shared the vision for next-generation autonomous rail networks.

CRSC & ONCF Technical Seminar Successfully Held in Rabat
On September 3, 2026, the "CRSC–ONCF Railway Signaling Technology Seminar" was successfully held in Rabat, Morocco. Jointly organized by CRSC International and the Research & Design Institute Group, the event brought together technical and business teams from both sides for comprehensive, in-depth, and practical discussions on key topics including:
🔹 Train operation control
🔹 Railway signaling system construction
🔹 Existing system adaptation
🔹 Operations, maintenance & support
🔹 Localization cooperation
The seminar laid a solid foundation for deepening mutual trust, expanding collaboration, and strengthening CRSC’s long-term presence in the Moroccan railway market.
This milestone marks an important step forward in CRSC’s cooperation with ONCF and represents a key achievement in expanding into the Moroccan and North African railway markets. Moving forward, CRSC will continue to follow up on ONCF’s technical and project needs, enhance communication, refine cooperation plans, and promote the implementation of potential projects — contributing CRSC’s expertise and solutions to the modernization of Morocco’s railway infrastructure, improvement of transport safety, and cultivation of local talent.

CRSC International Nigeria Company Extends Support to a Local Employee in Need
On August 28 in Abuja, Nigeria, CRSC International Nigeria Company carried out a heartfelt act of support for a local employee facing family hardship.
After learning that a family member of the employee had fallen seriously ill and urgently required medical treatment, the company promptly organized a voluntary donation campaign among both Chinese and Nigerian staff. Company representatives also visited the hospital to offer their care, encouragement, and support to the employee’s family.
Every act of kindness makes a difference. Through this initiative, CRSC International Nigeria Company provided timely assistance to an employee in need, demonstrating its people-centered values and strong commitment to fulfilling corporate social responsibility overseas.

CASCO to modernize Tura El Balad Depot on Cairo Metro Line 1 – a new milestone in Egypt! 🎉🚇

It is the largest depot on Cairo's oldest and busiest metro line, which has been in operation for over 40 years. As the signalling system EPC integrator, we will replace the ageing signalling system with new‑generation technologies and products.

The new system will deliver:
✅ Improved safety with SIL4 certification
✅ Higher capacity with reduced headways
✅ Full compatibility with the existing Line 1, plus future‑proof interfaces for CBTC systems in the mainline

Following the 10th of Ramadan Railway, this project further strengthens CASCO's presence and long‑term commitment to Egypt's rail sector.

Great News from CRSC in Kenya!
We are proud to announce that CRSC's Kenya branch has successfully renewed the Signal Maintenance Contract for the Mombasa–Nairobi (SGR) and Phase I of the Nairobi–Malaba Standard Gauge Railway for the 2026–2027 period.
This renewal marks a new chapter in our partnership with Africa Star Railway Operation Company, and it stands as a strong recognition of CRSC's past performance and commitment.
Our local maintenance team will continue to uphold the values of professionalism, responsibility, and collaboration, leveraging years of overseas experience and technical expertise to deliver excellence every step of the way.
