Deepening our presence in Indonesia through technology, academia, and local partnerships.

Recently, our official authorized partner in Indonesia, Samrotec, joined forces with a team of senior professors from one of Indonesia’s leading engineering universities to host an in-person SLAM technology seminar.

The session focused on high-precision SLAM-based spatial scanning and featured an in-depth demonstration of the GoSLAM T100i Pro handheld 3D laser scanner, including its core capabilities, practical advantages, and real-world applications.

Together with university experts, the team explored how advanced 3D scanning and SLAM technologies can support:

• 3D modeling and digital reconstruction
• Surveying and reality capture
• Engineering research and development
• Architecture and construction
• Smart city applications

The technology and its potential applications received strong recognition from the participating professors.

This academic-industry collaboration marks another important step in strengthening GoSLAM’s presence in Indonesia, particularly across engineering, surveying, research, and education.

Looking ahead, Samrotec will continue working with the university on public lectures and other educational initiatives, helping bring SLAM technology into more research projects, engineering applications, construction workflows, and smart-city developments across Indonesia.

A big thank you to our partner Samrotec for their continued commitment to developing the Indonesian market and building meaningful connections between technology, academia, and industry.

Strong markets are built through strong local partnerships.
We are pleased to see our dealer in Sri Lanka taking part in CONSTRUCT 2026, the country’s leading construction exhibition, held for the 23rd consecutive year.

Events like CONSTRUCT bring together professionals from across the construction, engineering, building materials and equipment industries — creating an important platform for exchanging ideas, demonstrating new technologies and building long-term business relationships.

For us, having a reliable local dealer means much more than product distribution. It means having a partner who understands the market, stays close to customers and represents our solutions directly within the local industry.
We highly appreciate the work of our Sri Lankan partner and are pleased to see our presence in the market continue to grow.

Thank you to everyone who visited the exhibition, met with our team and showed interest in our solutions.

We look forward to developing more projects together in Sri Lanka.

What if 3D scanning no longer had to choose between survey-grade accuracy, portability, and high-quality visual data?

That trade-off has been a persistent problem in reality capture.

Professional 3D scanning systems can deliver precise geometry, but capturing equally strong visual textures often requires additional cameras, accessories and a more complicated field workflow. Lightweight setups are easier to deploy, but image quality may not meet the requirements of professional digital twins, BIM, heritage documentation or high-quality 3D visualization.

GoSLAM is addressing this with the latest Insta360 X6 integration.

GoSLAM will support the new Insta360 X6 panoramic camera module across its product line, including the M40, T-I and G1 Series, bringing high-definition panoramic imaging directly into the mobile 3D scanning workflow.

The combination brings several important advantages:

• 8K panoramic imaging for richer, more realistic texture capture
• High color depth for more detailed, true-to-life 3D visualization
• A lightweight integrated configuration without additional auxiliary imaging equipment
• Improved color point-cloud and reality-capture workflows, including challenging lighting conditions
• Support for rapid Gaussian Splatting reconstruction and 3D scene visualization
• GoSLAM's mapping technology for high-precision, measurable 3D deliverables

The result is a more complete reality-capture workflow: accurate geometry and high-quality visual information collected together in the field.

This matters far beyond conventional surveying. The integrated solution can be applied to engineering and infrastructure, BIM digitization, power and energy, emergency response, public safety, cultural heritage documentation and other environments where teams need to capture complex spaces quickly and accurately.

The X6 integration also marks another step in the continuing cooperation between GoSLAM and Insta360, with panoramic imaging now becoming a standardized part of GoSLAM's reality-capture ecosystem.

If your team is working with mobile mapping, LiDAR scanning, digital twins, BIM or large-scale 3D data acquisition and would like to understand how this solution could fit your workflow, get in touch with us.

We would be glad to discuss your application and recommend the right GoSLAM configuration:

What happens when critical areas of a bridge are too difficult or dangerous to inspect manually?

Bridge decks may be accessible, but the areas underneath the structure, around the piers, across steep slopes and near the foundations are often much harder to survey. Missing these areas can leave engineering teams with an incomplete picture of the bridge and its surrounding terrain.

GoSLAM combines drones and mobile 3D scanners to solve this problem.

The drones quickly survey the bridge deck, exterior structure and surrounding landscape from above. GoSLAM mobile scanners then collect detailed point-cloud data beneath the bridge and around piers, foundations, slopes and roadbeds.

Together, the data creates a comprehensive 3D reconstruction of the bridge and its environment.

This can support:

• Bridge safety inspections
• As-built surveying
• Structural-condition assessment
• Detection of settlement or foundation movement
• Identification of potential defects and hazards
• Maintenance and remediation planning

The result is a more complete, efficient and data-driven inspection process—especially for bridges located in mountainous or difficult terrain.

How can large commercial spaces be transformed into accurate, immersive and practical 3D environments?

The main challenge is fragmentation.

Indoor and outdoor areas are often surveyed separately. Data processing can be time-consuming, models may be too heavy to deploy efficiently, and important architectural or visual details can be lost during reconstruction.

The integrated GoSLAM and MipMap solution combines synchronized spatial data acquisition with advanced 3D Gaussian modeling to create unified, lightweight and highly detailed models of real-world environments.

From building façades and curved structures to shop interiors, landscaping and public areas, the technology preserves the spatial layout and realistic appearance of the original site.

The resulting models can support:

• Commercial district renovation and redevelopment
• Virtual shopping mall and property browsing
• Store design and decoration archiving
• Facility inspection and asset documentation
• Urban planning and digital construction
• Immersive visualization and project presentation

The result is a streamlined, one-stop workflow for the digital reconstruction of commercial, retail and leisure spaces.
