Shanghai’s first professional opera house in the true sense and China’s first fully-floating opera house constructed with integrated vibration isolation technology is affiliated with the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the oldest institution of higher music education in China. Centered on music teaching and opera performances, it integrates performance, education, creation and international exchanges, standing as an urban cultural landmark in Shanghai’s Hengfu Historical Conservation Zone.
Minghe Group · Beite Shengdi undertook the construction of the stage machinery subsystem. The project is equipped with nearly 300 sets of stage equipment, with a total installed weight of more than 1,300 tons. It expands the motion modes of main lifting platforms, orchestral lift platforms, wagon stages and lifting platforms for curtain storage. These innovative functions are applied for the first time domestically, fully meeting the owner’s requirements for stage performance functions and noise reduction and enabling diverse stage visual effects.
