🌱🐄☀️ Bavaria’s cattle have a new buddy — solar.

In Böbing, Germany, a 1 MW Agri-PV project is bringing power generation, shade and grazing together on the same land.

With Tongwei TNC 2.0 modules and a single-axis tracking system, the pasture remains in active agricultural use while generating clean electricity. The moving shade helps grass recover better during hot weather — and gives the cattle a comfortable place to rest when temperatures rise.

Developed by and led by Project Manager Sabrina Steinhauser, the project shows how solar and farming can work side by side, creating value for both the land and the farm.

🌱 Inspiring the Next Generation of STEM Talent with Monash Tech School ☀️

Tongwei Solar was delighted to participate in the Monash Tech School Career Launchpad, connecting with students and industry professionals to share insights into renewable energy, solar technology, and future career opportunities in STEM.

The event brought together 101 students, 44 industry professionals, and 30 Monash University undergraduate students, creating an inspiring platform for young talents to explore the possibilities of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Through industry engagement and hands-on learning, the program encouraged students to discover new ideas and explore future pathways in STEM. According to the student survey, 99% of participants learned something new, while 96% agreed the program achieved its learning objectives.

At Tongwei Solar, we believe that advancing the clean energy transition requires not only innovative technology, but also inspiring the next generation of innovators.
