🐶 Canine Outbreak in Brazil
On April 5th, a concerning outbreak of canine parvovirus was reported in multiple regions of Brazil. Veterinary authorities urged dog owners to ensure their pets are up-to-date on vaccinations. Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious viral disease that spreads through contact with infected f***s, and can cause severe gastrointestinal symptoms.
🐔 Avian Detected in UK Poultry Farms
April 12th saw the discovery of several cases of avian influenza, or bird flu, on poultry farms across the United Kingdom. Farms were placed under quarantine as officials worked to contain the outbreak. Avian influenza viruses can spread rapidly among domestic birds and occasionally infect humans through close contact.

On April 18th, health authorities in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu reported a spike in rabies cases linked to attacks by stray dogs. Residents were advised to avoid contact with unfamiliar animals and seek immediate medical care if bitten. Rabies is a fatal viral disease typically transmitted through animal bites.
