It was a garage startup and the first company to consider an electric scooter as "a Last Mile Solution" in commuting. The aim was to make a very light personal mobility device that can go fast, be taken on public transport or fit into the car trunk. The innovation technology was as follows:
1) using a brush-less hub motor in the wheel instead of a motor with a chain
2) using a LED ION battery in
stead of a LED acid battery
3) using extruded aluminum in the construction
4) a quick folding mechanism for fast and easy folding
In 2013 after achieving great success in Israel, a Chinese partner by the name FOCUS WAY was found in order to explore the global market. After the partnership was created the company became known as Ningbo MYWAY. In 2014 Ningbo MYWAY launched the "INOKIM" brand replacing the "MYWAY" brand. In 2016 Hangzhou MYWAY was founded to focus on the marketing and sales of INOKIM electric scooters.
