Factory solar + battery storage: How do you calculate the right capacity? ☀️🔋

The answer starts with understanding two important numbers:
✅ Daily electricity consumption
✅ Local peak sun hours

For a factory using 1,000 kWh per day with around 4 peak sun hours, a 250 kW solar system can be a starting estimate.

But solar power is not always produced when electricity is needed. Excess daytime energy can be stored and used at night or during peak demand hours.

The best solution is not simply installing more panels or batteries — it’s about finding the right balance between solar generation, energy storage, and factory load.
