A smaller equipment design still needs reliable airflow performance.

AFL B3P133-EC072-101 EC backward curved centrifugal fan is developed for ventilation and cooling applications where space, airflow and system resistance all need to be considered.

With optimized impeller design, it delivers up to 301 mÂł/h airflow** and 400 Pa static pressure**.

The EC motor supports 0–10VDC / PWM control, allowing flexible airflow adjustment for different equipment requirements.

Suitable for:
âś” Fresh air ventilation systems
âś” Air treatment equipment
âś” Electrical cabinet cooling
âś” Compact industrial ventilation applications

Reliable airflow starts with the right fan design.

For many outdoor equipment projects, IP65 is no longer the end point.

As energy storage, telecom, outdoor power systems and cooling equipment move into more exposed installations, dust and rain are only part of the challenge. Persistent moisture, water accumulation and direct environmental exposure are pushing some projects toward IP68 fan solutions.

AFL has already developed high-protection fan capability based on BMC molding and fully enclosed structural design, with solutions reaching IP68 for demanding outdoor applications.

For OEMs, this means lower ingress-related failure risk and less dependence on additional protective structures around the fan.

For projects moving beyond IP65, AFL can join the design stage early — before the enclosure, fan position and cooling layout are fixed.

Temperature changes how a fan performs — not just the environment around it.

As temperature rises, air density drops, which changes pressure performance and the actual mass airflow moving through the system.

Inside the fan, temperature also affects motor thermal margin, electronics, bearing lubrication and material stability. At low temperatures, grease viscosity, startup performance and the behavior of plastics, seals and electronic components become more critical.

That is why fan selection for demanding environments cannot rely on airflow and pressure alone.

AFL develops fan solutions for operating environments from -40°C to +70°C, with motor, bearing, material and control configurations matched to the actual application.

For HVAC, refrigeration, power equipment and industrial cooling OEMs, temperature needs to be part of the fan selection from the beginning.

Southeast Asia’s data center market is growing fast — and cooling infrastructure is evolving with it.

As computing density rises and 24/7 operation becomes more demanding, existing CRAC, AHU, in-row cooling and Fan Wall systems are also facing a new round of efficiency upgrades.

Fan system modernization is becoming one practical way to improve cooling performance and control without rebuilding the entire cooling infrastructure.

AFL is developing a dedicated data center fan platform for this shift, covering compact in-row cooling, CRAC & AHU systems, high-pressure Fan Wall applications and DC cooling solutions. Behind it are our own motor R&D, aerodynamic engineering, intelligent control and performance validation capabilities.

As Southeast Asia continues expanding its digital infrastructure, AFL is supporting the cooling systems behind that growth.

A good fan starts with the first manufacturing step.

At AFL, that means controlling every key detail from sheet metal to the finished fan:

Laser cutting protects the first dimensional and aerodynamic accuracy.

Micron-level CNC machining keeps critical mating surfaces under control.

High-precision soldering supports stable EC control.

Automatic winding improves motor consistency from batch to batch.

Robotic welding strengthens structural repeatability.

Precision motor and impeller assembly brings the rotating system together.

Critical characteristics are 100% tested before shipment.

And behind all of this is AFL’s 89,000 m² smart manufacturing base, with annual capacity of approximately 3 million units and supply to more than 30 countries and regions.

For OEM customers, manufacturing capability is not just about making a good sample. It is about repeating the same standard in volume.

AFL’s globalization is no longer only about where our products are delivered.

It is about building a stronger connection between our manufacturing capabilities in China and the markets we serve around the world.

From our Sales and Project Support Office in Europe to our presence in Malaysia, AFL continues to expand its international footprint while staying active at major industry exhibitions and closer to customers, partners and markets worldwide.

Behind this expansion is a clear direction: to build a global service network that can connect local market needs with AFL’s engineering, manufacturing and organizational capabilities.

For us, going global means more than entering more countries.

It means becoming more accessible, more responsive and more deeply connected to the industries and customers we serve.

🌍 AFL is continuing to build its global network — with China as a strong foundation and the world as our market.

A broad fan portfolio gives equipment manufacturers more room to develop different product platforms with one reliable engineering partner.

At AFL, fan selection starts with the application—not with a fixed model.

We work around the required airflow, static pressure, installation space, control method and operating conditions, then match the fan solution to the equipment design.

Behind that range is AFL’s capability in motor development, aerodynamic design, performance testing and manufacturing.

For OEM projects, send us your working point and installation requirements.

What does an AHU OEM need from an EC Fan Wall solution?

For different AHU platforms, airflow alone is not enough. The fan configuration also needs to match static pressure, cabinet space, control requirements and system reliability.

A modular EC Fan Wall can help AHU manufacturers:

Match different AHU sizes and working points
Add redundancy for continuous operation
Simplify installation and individual fan maintenance
Integrate variable-speed control into the AHU system
Eliminate belt transmission and related maintenance

AFL supports EC centrifugal fan selection, Fan Wall configuration and customized airflow solutions for AHU manufacturers.

Send us your airflow, static pressure and installation requirements to discuss the right configuration.
