Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulfonate (also called SDSB, Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulphonate, Sodium Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonate, Sodium Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonate, Sodium Alkyl Benzene Sulfonate, LAS, LASNa, CAS No. 25155-30-0, 68411-30-3), SDBS easy dissolve in water, hard to volatilize, powder easy to absorb moisture and caked in air.
Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulphate has chemically stable to alkali, dilute acid and hard water, and can establish a balanced system with strong acid, has good pe*******on, detergency, foaming, wetting and dispersibility, it is a commonly used anionic surfactant.
The hydrophobic group of LAS is dodecyl phenyl group and the hydrophilic group of LASNa is sulfonic acid group.
