Scrolling through my phone and found some photos from earlier this year. Got a little sentimental.
It was November 2023, almost Thanksgiving. I basically packed five of our engineers and sent them all the way to the US. Freezing cold, like below zero. They were there to install a 1GWh battery electrode production line.
Big machines. A positive electrode coating line with a 45-meter oven. Negative electrode with a 32-meter oven. Plus slitting machines, hydraulic calendars. Just the names tell you it wasn't easy work.
They stayed there for nearly two months. One and a half months for installation, two weeks for commissioning, another two weeks for trial runs. By January 2024, the customer said okay, we're good. Production ready.
I remember calling them on video and seeing them eating sandwiches right there in the workshop, hair all messy, mumbling about some parameter that still needed tweaking. Honestly? It was both funny and kind of heartbreaking.
But this is what we do. We don't just sell equipment. We're the kind of people who will fly a team over, stay in motels, eat cold pizza, and not go home until the line is actually running.
So if you're building a battery production line somewhere far from home, and you want a partner who will show up instead of just sending emails... let's talk.
One last thing from the heart: Wishing everyone out there – may you have people who help you, people who care for you, and may everything go smoothly.
Below is a short clip of that line running.
