In drilling operations, wellbore leakage has always been a thorny problem that troubles the industry, not only causing wellbore instability, but also potentially leading to wellbore abandonment.The traditional cement plug operation takes a long time (more than 48 hours) and is not effective in high permeability or fractured formations. To this end, Superior Energy Services has formed a strong alliance with Kuwait Oil Company to successfully develop a high thixotropy cement slurry system, using innovative technology to overcome the problem of well leakage!

Technical highlights: Intelligent viscosity adjustment, fast and efficient sealing

The density of this cement slurry system is about 1.18kg/L, designed based on the principle of thixotropy - it maintains low viscosity for easy flow during pumping. Once pumping is stopped, it quickly solidifies to form a high viscosity sealing layer, effectively sealing and plugging the lost area. Its advantages include:
Strong adaptability: compatible with water-based and oil-based drilling fluids, with excellent versatility;
Rapid solidification: significantly reduces operation time and saves a lot of costs compared to traditional methods;
Stability: excellent performance in different environments through cyclic shear, static gel and temperature response tests;

The Kuqa Depression in the Tarim Basin in China is rich in condensate oil and gas resources, mainly including Bozi, Dabei, Dina and Tuziluo gas condensate fields. The wax content of crude oil in Dabei gas condensate field varies greatly, with the highest wax content of 22% and the lowest wax content of 3%. As the temperature decreases, wax molecules in the fluid of the waxy formation precipitate and deposit on the inner wall of the wellbore, blocking the flow channel and reducing the flow diameter, resulting in a decrease or shutdown of the condensate gas well production. Therefore, it is urgent to further clarify the influence of wax content on the phase characteristics of condensate gas reservoirs.

At present, most of the research on the phase characteristics of condensate gas reservoirs at home and abroad focuses on wax precipitation points, wax deposition, genesis of high and low wax content, wax removal and prevention methods, and wax deposition prediction models.

This article uses oil and gas samples from well 1101 in the Dabei condensate gas field to establish a method for producing fluid samples from formations with different wax contents. The composition and content, dew point pressure, deviation coefficient, and phase characteristics of fluids from formations with different wax contents in the Dabei condensate gas field were studied, aiming to provide guidance for formulating reasonable development methods for condensate gas reservoirs and improving the recovery rate of condensate oil.

In order to reduce pipeline operational risks, regular inspections should be conducted.Magnetic flux leakage internal detection technology is currently the most widely used detection technique.During the process of collecting magnetic flux leakage data in pipelines, abnormal data is mixed in the collected magnetic flux leakage data due to factors such as surrounding environment and detection device failures (such as sensor damage, poor line contact, etc.).These abnormal data not only fail to reflect the true situation of the pipeline, but also interfere with the normal data in the pipeline, directly affecting the evaluation of the overall pipeline performance. Therefore, the identification of pipeline magnetic leakage anomaly data is crucial for data analysis and processing.

This article proposes a lightweight model based on one-dimensional convolutional neural network for identifying magnetic leakage anomaly data in oil and gas pipelines; Input one-dimensional data into the model, introduce batch normalization layer and optimize Dropout regularization method to improve the feature extraction ability of the model. In the production of the dataset and optimization of model parameters, the characteristics of magnetic flux leakage data are fully integrated to achieve higher compatibility between the two. Through experimental analysis and evaluation, establish a model for identifying magnetic leakage anomaly data, providing application references for subsequent magnetic leakage data analysis.

Recently, the first carbon dioxide dry fracturing well in Daqing Oilfield - Xing 5-2-28 well in the experimental area of the Saring Formation in Xingbei Development Zone, has been successfully fractured. The initial daily production of liquid is 4.5 tons, the daily production of oil is 2.2 tons, and the water content is 52%. Compared with conventional anti swelling fracturing measures, the daily production has been increased by 1 ton.
Carbon dioxide dry fracturing, also known as carbon dioxide anhydrous energy storage fracturing, uses liquid carbon dioxide instead of water-based fracturing fluid compared to conventional fracturing.
