Standards help define tile adhesive classes… but what really drives performance?
The answer often sits inside the formulation — and one key player is ether (CE).
CE does far more than water retention:
✔ Helps ensure proper cement hydration (especially for low-porosity tiles and rich SCM systems)
✔ Improves workability & open time
✔ Controls sag and slip for large-format applications
✔ Supports consistent adhesion.

But here’s the catch:
Not all CEs are equal — modification matters.
