MTHPA, Methyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride, is a curing agent for Epoxy resins; used in epoxy paints and adhesives. MTHPA is also used in reinforced plastic application, for filament wound products (glass fiber reinforced plastics, pipelines for oilfield, poles and sport goods), printed circuit boards, laminated boards, switchgears.
MTHPA, Methyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride, is indeed the main raw material for high-voltage electrical apparatus (capacitors, resistors, transformers, ignition coils, wiring parts ...) considering its excellent insulating properties...
