What's inside the bag should match what's on the paper. Simple, right? 😅

We learned the hard way — a copy-pasted COA once cost a customer 3 hours of production and a very early wake-up call.

Now every order from Honor Pigment ships with batch-specific documentation. TDS. SDS. COA. Not template copies — real test data from our lab.

27 years. 50+ countries. consistent quality.

PY83 Diarylide Yellow — thermal recrystallization and strength loss in polyolefin masterbatch above 200°C

# # Post Content

PY83 diarylide yellow is one of the most widely used organic yellows in polyolefin masterbatch. But when processing temperatures cross 200°C, the pigment begins to recrystallize. Small crystals dissolve, regrow larger, and the shade shifts greener while tinting strength drops.

We saw a 15 percent strength loss in LLDPE at 210°C with a standard grade. Switching to a heat-stabilized grade — same CI 21108, rosin-treated, D50 below 0.25 microns — held strength within 3 percent across a full shift.

PY83 works. Just make sure you have the right grade for your processing window.

PO36 Benzimidazolone Orange — residual amine decomposition and color drift in POM engineering plastics

# # Post Content

A compounder running natural POM at 200°C started seeing Delta E drift on PO36 benzimidazolone orange. Same lot, same letdown. The color shifted gradually across the shift.

The problem was residual aminobenzimidazolone from incomplete synthesis washing. 2 to 4 percent remained. At 200°C under shear, those residuals decompose into chromophoric breakdown products that actively push Delta E past 1.0.

Thermal conditioning — 4 hours at 180°C under nitrogen — brought residual amines below 0.3 percent. Delta E held under 0.8 across an 8-hour shift.

For engineering plastics coloring, ask for residual amine data. What the wash leaves behind will show up in the press.

☀️ Summer is here — and so is the ultimate test for outdoor colors.

Ever noticed how some red buildings still look vibrant after 10 years, while others fade to pink in a single season?

The secret isn't in the paint. It's in the pigment. 🎨

At Honor Pigment, we produce high-performance organic pigments that laugh in the face of UV rays. Our DPP Red 254 and Benzimidazolone Yellow 151 have clocked 3,000+ hours of accelerated weathering — and they're still going strong.

From the gleaming façades of Dubai skyscrapers to the colorful rooftops of European towns, our pigments do one thing: stay brilliant under the sun.

Think of it as sunscreen... for buildings. 😎

Ever walked past a building and wondered why its color still pops five years later? 🌈

Behind that vibrancy is a tiny decision made in a lab thousands of miles away: which organic pigment goes into the paint.

At Honor Pigments in Shanghai, we supply the color chemistry behind architectural and industrial coatings shipped to 50+ countries. Think phthalocyanine blues that withstand 180°C baking cycles. Quinacridone reds that don't fade under tropical sun.

Science-y? Sure. But the result is something everyone gets: colors that stay put.

Next time you notice a particularly vivid building—our pigments might be the unsung heroes in that paint can. 🏗️

Your kid's bright yellow toy truck sits in the sandbox all summer. Why doesn't it turn beige? ☀️🚛

That's pigment engineering — not magic.

Behind every colorfast plastic product, chemists have mapped the full journey: how the color behaves at 200°C during molding, how it resists migration when little hands grab it, how it holds up through sun, rain, and rough play.

At Honor Pigments, we solve these color puzzles for manufacturers in 50+ countries. Automotive dashboards, building materials, the toys in your living room — if it's colored plastic, there's a color chemist behind it.

You know those brightly colored plastic building blocks that somehow survive being stepped on, chewed on, and left in the sun for years?

That color staying power is not an accident. It is high-performance organic pigments doing the heavy lifting.

Here is something most people do not think about: when a toy company molds red ABS bricks, the pigment inside has to survive 240°C processing, not bleed into the surrounding white plastic, and pass toy safety migration tests (EN 71-3). Standard pigments fail one of those three. Guaranteed.

At Honor Pigments, we make the ones that do not fail.

Our DPP reds and phthalocyanine blues go into toys, car dashboards, and food containers worldwide. Same shade target, way fewer headaches.

You know that bright red playground slide or the deep blue garden chair that still looks vibrant after years of sun and rain? That's not luck—it's science!

At Honor Pigments, we engineer organic pigments (like PO, PR, and PY series) with exceptional lightfastness and weather resistance—so your outdoor plastics stay bold, not faded.

Whether it's toys, furniture, or automotive parts, our pigments are built to last under the harshest conditions, in over 50 countries worldwide.

Why Batch Consistency Matters More Than Price When Sourcing Organic Pigments

You can get a quote for organic pigment in 15 minutes on Alibaba. Hundreds of factories in China will sell you Pigment Yellow 83 at $6–10/kg.

So why do ink and coatings manufacturers keep coming back to the same suppliers year after year?

The answer isn't price. It's what happens on your production floor.

A CI Pigment Yellow 14 from Supplier A and the same CI from Supplier B can have completely different dispersion behavior. One batch goes through your mill in 40 minutes. The next one takes 2 hours. That's not a pigment problem — it's a supplier problem.

At Honor Pigments, we've tracked this across thousands of shipments. Our data shows consistent particle size distribution (D50 within ±0.05µm batch-to-batch) cuts press adjustment time by up to 80%. For a mid-size ink producer running 3 shifts, that's real money — not in the purchase order, but in the factory.

We wrote a full breakdown of what procurement managers actually need to check before committing to a new pigment supplier. Not marketing claims. Actual process data.
