Anthropic showcased the ESP32-S3-powered M5Stack Cardputer as recommended hardware for building AI agent interfaces during its Build with Claude event.

At the same time, Anthropic opened the Claude Hardware Interface (Bluetooth API) to developers, using the ESP32-based M5StickC Plus as the first reference platform for Claude Desktop Buddy.

This enables ESP32 devices to interact directly with Claude over BLE, bringing AI workflows into the physical world through displays, buttons, and real-time status interaction.
