The 2026 SMM Zinc Industry Conference took place in Qingdao from August 6 to 8, gathering more than 800 industry professionals to discuss technological innovations across the zinc and hot-dip galvanizing sectors. Standard Compliance
In compliance with IEC and ASTM standards as well as the 25+ year service lifecycle requirements of PV modules, thin-wall PV trackers are required to sustain stable structural performance while achieving weight optimization. Strict coating quality control and cross-industry collaboration are critical to ensuring consistent long-term corrosion resistance.

Climate Adaptation
PV projects are deployed across a wide range of environments, ranging from inland regions to high-salinity coastal areas. Featuring thinner substrates, thin-wall structures demand higher-precision and denser protective coatings. Customized galvanizing solutions tailored to varying corrosion severity levels are essential to resisting long-term atmospheric erosion.

Soil Corrosion Resistance
Underground PV foundations are subject to severe electrochemical corrosion in complex soil environments. The reduced corrosion margin of thin-wall designs calls for upgraded coating performance. Located in the hinterland of Eurasia, Bortala, Xinjiang, features harsh Gobi conditionsโ€”extreme temperature swings, violent sandstorms, complex geology and long-haul logistics bottlenecks, bringing severe challenges to PV plant construction.

Against extreme working conditions, VG Solar tailored professional mounting system solutions. We adopted adjustable stepped posts, 8โ€“12m deep PHC prestressed pipe piles, wind-resistant bracings and sand-fixing barriers, plus sand-draining and frost-heave resistant designs. On July 15, a delegation led by Erdenechog, Chairman of the Investment Committee of Zamyn-Uud Free Trade Zone and Member of the Board of Directors of Khushig Valley Development Zone of Mongolia, and Baigali, Foreign Trade Director of TENGRI EDN Co., Ltd., paid a visit to VG Solar. William Zhu, founder and chairman of the company, along with the management team, received the delegation and held a forum discussion.

During the visit, the guests toured the exhibition hall and gained an understanding of VG Solar's development journey, core technologies, and business layout covering both centralized and distributed photovoltaic power stations. Chairman Zhu elaborated on the company's extensive engineering experience in large-scale ground-mounted photovoltaic power plants, industrial & commercial PV systems and residential rooftop PV projects, as well as our global development strategy.

Chairman Erdenechog praised VG Solar's technical expertise and project delivery capacity.
