What pressure can the PFA tube withstand?

Standard PFA working pressure ususally from 0.6–1.6 MPa at 20°C.
Reinforced/thick-wall PFA can withsatnd pressure up to 10 MPa or higher.
specially designed PFA can burst at pressure over 120 MPa; record up to 150 MPa.

So, what factors affect PFA tubing pressure ?
◾PFA mechanical strength is temperature-sensitive; at 150°C, long-term pressure capacity drops ~60–70% vs 20°C. Design should follow temperature–pressure curves.
◾Straight tubing has higher pressure resistance than flexible ; metal-braided tubing can reach up to 10 MPa.
◾Smaller diameter and thicker wall increase pressure resistance for the same material.
◾ Purity: High-purity PFA (SEMI F57) offers better pressure performance and stability, suitable for semiconductor applications.
