For the first time, BMW Group has introduced a humanoid robot into real production scenarios at its Leipzig plant in Germany ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿค–

In this pilot, the AG Series Electric Gripper from DH-Robotics is integrated on AEON, the humanoid robot developed by Hexagon Robotics. The system is currently being tested in battery assembly and component manufacturing processes โš™๏ธ๐Ÿ”‹

As part of BMWโ€™s iFACTORY digitalisation strategy, this project marks a concrete step toward deploying Physical AI in real industrial environments ๐Ÿš€
