Many people ask why the Molicel P45B A3 21700 battery shows 3.48Ah, while its actual capacity is often around 4300mAh.

There are two main reasons:
1. A3 is a factory grading mark, used to distinguish Grade A from A3 cells.
2. On the other hand, because these batteries are imported from Taiwan, China to mainland China, they must comply with 3C certification requirements. The capacity displayed on the battery surface for users must be the lowest capacity in each batch.

Our testing shows:

95%+ of cells are above 4300mAh
Around 4% are above 4000mAh
Around 0.5% are rated at 3.48Ah
Around 0.5% may have self-discharge issues
From a price perspective, that is why the Molicel P45B A3 offers a much better value compared with Molicel P45B Grade A.
