30000rpm EVmotor Test Bench Extreme Challenge! ​ 💥
With the rotational speed soaring to 30000rpm, we completed a crucial test to verify the ability of the frequency converter to drive this high-speed motor.​
The test was conducted on the customer's on-site high-speed single-motor test bench, performing a no-load test on the motor and its shafting.
multi-drive water-cooled frequency converter cabinet (AFE + SMM + HL + braking unit) was adopted.
The test process involved accelerating the motor from 0 to 30000rpm, recording speed fluctuations and vibration values, and conducting comparative analysis.​
This is the ultimate test of product performance and a testament to our technical strength!

What is AFE(Active Front End)? What benifits you can get by using AFE ?

🟢AFE (Active Front End)
AFE (Active Front End) technology leverages IGBT power devices, utilizing a topology akin to that of inverter modules. It converts AC input to DC output, positioning it on the power supply side, hence the term 'front end.'

✅Lower harmonic,high power factory
The collaboration between the IGBT's turn-on and turn-off mechanisms and the input reactor produces a sinusoidal current waveform aligned with the input voltage phase. This effectively eliminates harmonics typically generated by the diode rectifier bridge, achieving a power factor as high as 99%, thereby minimizing harmonic pollution in the power grid. At this stage, energy flows from the grid to the motor via the rectifier and inverter circuits.

✅Engergy saving
In scenarios where the motor enters a power generation state, the energy produced is redirected back to the DC bus through the freewheeling diode on the inverter side. Subsequently, the energy feedback control on the rectifier side is activated, converting DC back into AC. By meticulously controlling the phase and amplitude of the inverter voltage, energy is efficiently fed back to the power grid, promoting significant energy savings. Here, energy transitions from the motor to the grid through both inverter and rectification processes.

According to recent industry statistics, the implementation of AFE technology can lead to a reduction in energy consumption by up to 30% in industrial applications, and it is projected to contribute significantly to achieving sustainability goals in power management. As the demand for energy-efficient solutions continues to rise, the adoption of AFE systems is expected to grow at a CAGR of 8% over the next five years, underscoring its pivotal role in modern power systems.
