As energy storage systems (ESS) continue to scale, safety is evolving from a protection issue into a system-level operational challenge.

Our 13.75MW/50.16MWh Montalto BESS project, co-located with 35MWp PV plant, has been successfully grid-connected and is now fully operational. As among the earliest real-world examples of retrofitting storage into an existing solar plant in Italy, this project demonstrates LONGi's proven capability to deliver integrated BESS solutions in complex, mature markets.
