Our DONCHAMP® NoiseGuard FSR (Filament Shard Retention) transparent acrylic noise barrier panels, with a new development in Velvet (Satin) anti glare surface finish, was tailor created by our R&D fabrication team, in meeting with the newly developed government standards. The technology to fabricate the surface finish over large panel areas, was enabled by DONCHAMP's ingenuity & commitment to technology in finding state-of-the-art solutions. The DONCHAMP ACRYLIC GROUP recently completed the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) relating to the study of detectable neutrino particles. The structure is a 35.4 metre diameter sphere, installed underground with intricate 120mm thick thermoformed DONCHAMP® Splash acrylic panels with a total weight of 600 tonnes. The core detector is constructed at the centre of a 44-metre-deep water pool. The JUNO project is now the world's largest acrylic structure, with numerous bonds, of which had to be optically perfect. It is now filled with 20000 litres of liquid scintillator to target capturing neutrinos. The 35.4 metre DONCHAMP® Splash sphere is assembled in the centre of the outer stainless steel supporting structure. Please look at the video for more information.
Neutrino: A neutral subatomic particle with a mass close to zero and half-integral spin, which rarely reacts with normal matter. Three kinds of neutrinos are known, associated with the electron, muon, and tau particle.

This DONCHAMP®Splash cylinder is a architectural feature aquarium located in the mall, which brings added value, in its captivating cosmetic attraction & interest from all ages. One of the clear advantages with the DONCHAMP®Splash cylinder in this design, is the availability of numerous dimensions, reducing the level of panel joins/bonds. Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Bad Hofgastein, Austria is the picturesque spa swim resort of Alpentherme Gastein alpentherme.com where DONCHAMP is the chosen supplier of the feature aquarium exhibit. DONCHAMP supplied the fabricated DONCHAMP® Splash tunnels & two large DONCHAMP® Splash cylinders, to create a truly unique visitor experience, like no other, as you swim through the tunnel, semi-emerged in water.
