Heya mould is good at different crate molds making, in order to reduce the cycle time, we will make the BECU on the mold. Till now, we have made hundreds sets crate molds. Such as bread storage crate, fruit crate mold, foldable crate mold, cola crate mold, etc.
Each customers are need the longer life and best quality crate molds. Normally, we will make the BECU on the sliders to reduce the cycle time. And we have design department and rich experience mold engineer, if you need reduce the cycle time, we will make a meeting for it and supply a best solve way to you.
For the crate molds, there have some questions:
1. Which mold steel are you want to use?
Usually, we recommend to use P20/718 steel. But if your output is huge, then you could choose H13/S136/NAK80.
2. Which injection system are you want to use?
Normally, we will make as 4-6 hot runner or one gate cold/hot runner.
3. How many cavity are you want to use?
We have made single cavity and two cavity crate molds till now. If you do not know, you could share your sample details and machine details to us. Then we will recommend the suitable cavity number to you.
4. Which ejection way are you prefer?
The crate mold could ejected stripper plate. And there have three ways: the stripper plate is controlled by hydraulic cylinders, the stripper plate is controlled by ejector rod of the injection machine (mechanical ejection), the stripper plate is controlled by tie-bars of the mold. Different eject way will have different costs. Among the three ways , the mechanical top is the most stable , economical and with shortly cycle time. The stripper plate is controlled by hydraulic cylinders, the mold costs is expensive, and the cycle time is longer than others.
These questions will effect the mold life,structure,costs,etc.
