We’re proud to announce that Sinoway ’s distributed photovoltaic (PV) project in Shandong has officially been connected to the grid on April 30th, 2025! This milestone marks a significant step toward our dual-carbon innovation goal by fully utilizing rooftop and ground spaces for clean solar energy generation.

The project adopts a multi-layered layout, covering over 65,440 m², including 20,029 m² of rooftop and 45,411 m² of ground-mounted arrays. With a system capacity of 5.27 MWp using high-efficiency N-type TOPCon modules, the system is expected to generate 567,000 kWh annually, with 90% self-consumed, significantly reducing electricity costs and carbon footprint.

By integrating a 10kV grid-tie station, Sinoway Carbon not only reduces energy expenses but also creates surplus power revenue—setting an example for industrial-scale solar transformation.

In a major green breakthrough, Egypt’s Ministry of Environment is discussing a strategic partnership with Sinoway Forest Technology Co., Ltd to implement large-scale afforestation, carbon sink forest development, and land restoration projects across Egypt.

Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, held talks with Sinoway’s team, joined by senior officials from Egypt’s Environmental Affairs Agency and International Cooperation Unit. The meeting focused on Sinoway’s cutting-edge seed ball technology, which allows for tree planting in arid zones by utilizing air and soil moisture—ideal for Egypt’s water-scarce climate.

This collaboration supports Egypt’s green growth strategy, strengthens its voluntary carbon market, and aims to reverse desertification and land degradation in a sustainable way.

Sinoway Forest shared successful case studies from Mauritania, Uzbekistan, and the UAE, where similar ecological restoration projects have transformed degraded lands into thriving ecosystems—generating carbon credits, improving local livelihoods, and advancing climate resilience.

Together setting a new model for climate innovation, ecological restoration, and green partnership in the Global South.

Mr. Mohamood from Sinoway Forest is conducting a field test on mangrove seedling planting along the UAE coastline.
This initiative is part of our larger effort to explore scalable, science-based solutions for mangrove restoration and coastal ecosystem recovery in arid regions.

Together, we aim to bring green life back to the shore.
