black dots revealed! Teach you to distinguish between mouse, cockroach and gecko droppings!
Do people often rummage through drawers and corners when they're cleaning at home and find those little black particles that make your head spin like...well, you know? Cockroaches? Geckos? Bats...? What kind of little invasive creature is this? Let me break it down for you!
The size, shape and colour of pest droppings vary from species to species. Usually, it's small, round or oval particles that are dark brown to black in colour. But most of the time, these are the droppings that you don't recognise, thus missing out on good pest control.
Mouse droppings are small, granular, larger than a green bean or half the size of a green bean, about 0.5 to 1cm; the colour is mainly black, grey and brown.
Cockroach droppings are small and dark, usually resembling coarse coffee grounds or black specks. From a distance they look like black peppercorns and are usually no more than 2mm in size.
Gecko faeces appear black, one end will have white dots, about 1cm in length, and the ends are smaller into a textile shape.Daily cleanup of insect and rodent droppings should be noted that a good certain level of protection masks and latex gloves are essential, but also need to be configured with chlorine disinfectant protection.
