1. Overview
High-voltage shunt capacitor devices mainly include the following equipment: high-voltage shunt capacitors, series reactors, discharge coils, zinc oxide arresters, isolation grounding switches, frames, bus bars, connecting wires, post insulators, cabinets or fences, etc. The capacitor device switching circuit breaker and its protection device and controller can be included in the supply according to the needs of users.
High-voltage shunt capacitor devices are mainly used in power frequency three-phase AC power systems to improve system power factor, reduce transformer and line losses, improve grid voltage quality, and increase equipment utilization.

It is mainly used in three-phase power systems such as power frequency voltage 10kV～750kV to adjust and balance the voltage of the substation network, improve the power factor, reduce the loss, and improve the quality of power supply.
