Located in Weijiamao Town, Inner Mongolia, the Weijiamao Open-pit Coal Mine operates under demanding conditions. The extraction process involves raw coal mixed with gangue, transported by massive 𝟵𝟭-𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟮𝟬-𝘁𝗼𝗻 mining trucks.

The baseline requirement was 2,500 tons/hour, the facility was engineered as a 𝟰,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗧𝗣𝗛-𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to accommodate surge loads and future capacity expansion. The sheer scale of the input material and the harsh climate necessitated a solution far beyond standard off-the-shelf equipment.

EXCT secured this project through public bidding , delivering a comprehensive lifecycle solution ranging from SolidWorks 3D modeling and Finite Element Analysis to civil construction and technical training.

A critical innovation for this project was the adaptation to the region’s freezing temperatures.

All reducer lubrication system utilize low-temperature oil integrated with automatic temperature control sensors and heating devices.

This extends the grease replacement cycle and enables the equipment to operate autonomously in 𝘀𝘂𝗯-𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, fully realizing the goal of an unattended operation.

The station’s backbone features the 𝗭𝗕𝗪𝗝𝟮𝟱𝟬𝟬𝘅𝟭𝟰𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆-𝗗𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝗣𝗟𝗙𝟭𝟱𝟬/𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿.

The Apron feeder is engineered to absorb the immense impact energy from truck unloading, effectively preventing the material blockages that previously plagued the site.

Furthermore, the modular design of the station minimized civil engineering requirements, significantly shortening installation time and increasing the flexibility for future relocations.

The entire operation is managed via an intelligent PLC control system. Operators monitor the plant through a central computer featuring a dynamic interface that visualizes the process flow and equipment status in real-time.

This digital integration ensures that the crushing line maintains optimal throughput while minimizing downtime.

Operational data from Weijiamao confirms that the station has successfully resolved historical issues regarding large feed sizes and screening inefficiencies.

The integration of the super heavy-duty Apron feeder has protected the sizer from impact damage, significantly improving the qualification rate of the final coal product. The project has delivered tangible economic and environmental benefits.

Tingziyan Coal Mine Achieves 1,600 TPH Efficient Operation with EXCT Intelligent Crushing Station

Let’s learn how Jungar YaogouXiang Tingziyan Coal Mine succefully tackles the high-hardness raw coal and continuous operation by implementing our crushing station, featuring Mineral Sizers, Feeder Breakers, and Roller Screens , combine with an advanced automation system for 24-hour unattended operation.

Construction on the Tingziyan Coal Mine began in December 2017, with commercial operations starting in 2021 , as a large-scale open-pit mine with resource reserves of 82.78 million tonnes.

During the initial construction phase in 2017, the mine 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗹.

The primary challenges at Tingziyan included: 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 of the raw coal, a 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼 (from ≤300mm to ≤60mm), and the need to guarantee 𝟮𝟰-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 continuous operation. To meet these demands, our engineered stationary crushing station integrated several key technologies.

𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝟭,𝟲𝟬𝟬 𝘁/𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘀𝗵𝘂𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽

When Fushun Mining Group planned to expand its coal and oil shale production, they faced critical bottlenecks related to crushing capacity and operational efficiency. A standard solution would not suffice for their demanding environment.

EXCT partnered with them to design and implement a crushing and screening station.

The core of this system included a heavy-duty apron feeder paired with primary (2PLF120/200) and secondary (2PLF100/300) mineral sizers. The entire solution was engineered for robust performance, proving its reliability in the mine's challenging conditions, 340 meters below sea level.
