Most storage retrofits are decided in the survey, not in the spec sheet.
By the time the chemistry argument is settled on paper, someone still has to measure the plant room door, check what the wall can actually carry, and find out whether the floor in a converted building takes a point load.
That is why form factor is a procurement question, not a catalogue detail. The same sodium-ion chemistry can arrive as a wall unit for a tight utility room, a floor stack where there is depth but nothing to hang it from, or a cabinet outside when neither exists.
Honest about the trade: lithium iron phosphate still fits more kilowatt-hours into the same footprint. Where floor area is the binding constraint, that matters more than anything else on the datasheet.
Measure the building first. Then choose the box.
