Designing a genset radiator for 55°C? There is one detail you should not overlook.
The outside ambient temperature may be 55°C, but inside a soundproof generator enclosure, heat from the engine and alternator can raise the temperature of the air reaching the radiator.
This difference matters.
For high-temperature projects, our engineering team normally checks the engine cooling data, ambient temperature, radiator air-on temperature, enclosure dimensions and installation limitations before selecting the cooling solution.
Weichuang has focused on generator-set radiators for more than 20 years, including aluminum and copper radiators, remote systems and HT/LT applications.
We are preparing to meet the power-generation industry in Dubai at MEE 2026.
Have a challenging genset cooling project? Send us the engine model and operating conditions—we can discuss the cooling concept before the show.
