When temperatures fall below freezing, to ensure the safe and normal operation of the high pressure water jet cleaning machine, prevent property damage caused by cold and freezing weather, and guarantee normal production work, the following anti-freeze and de-icing measures for high-pressure cleaning equipment are hereby established.
Details are as follows:
.Add insulation measures to the high pressure water jet cleaning machine to prevent the water pump, water pipes, and water passages from freezing.
.Drain the water from the pump of any temporarily unused high pressure water jet cleaning machine, and empty the water from the water tank, pipes, and other water passage components.
.Remove the high-pressure hose and spray gun. Use an air gun to expel any remaining water inside.
.Add antifreeze to the fine water filter, then use an air gun to blow air into the transparent tube of the filter, allowing the antifreeze to flow into the pump head and exit through the pump outlet.
.If conditions permit, store the high-pressure cleaning equipment indoors at a room temperature above 0°C when not in use to prevent freezing.
.If the cleaning machine is found to be frozen, do not start the high-pressure cleaning equipment, and do not attempt to thaw it by pouring boiling water or dousing it with hot water. Thawing should only be done with warm water or by placing the high pressure water jet cleaning machine at room temperature for natural thawing.
.Only start operation after the high-pressure cleaning equipment and accessories are completely thawed. When ceasing use, refer to the above anti-freeze measures for protection.
.Freezing of the high-pressure cleaning equipment may damage the seals in the high-pressure pump, reducing their sealing performance.
