🔍 M&A Manager | Mining Sector

We are seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Manager to drive high-impact investment decisions. Working directly with the VP of Strategic Growth, you will act as the catalyst for our growth strategy, conducting rigorous technical valuations and identifying the fatal flaws to help drive successful transactions.
📋 Key Responsibilities
• Search, screening, finding and auditing mining assets to enhance the company's growth strategy.
• Evaluate mining assets in all their stages: exploration, resources, reserves, development, construction and operation.
• Audit and challenge the technical integrity of the mining asset, from geology, mining, metallurgy and infrastructure to identify risks that affect the viability and valuation of the asset.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to audit geology, metallurgy, mining, and infrastructure, assessing technical contingencies.
• Review and challenge PEA, PFS, and FS studies under international standards (NI 43-101, JORC, SK-1300, SAMREC).
• Perform sensitivity analysis on CAPEX, OPEX, and metallurgical recoveries to ensure project viability.
• Prepare strategic recommendations and executive presentations for the Investment Committee and Senior Management.
👤 Required Profile
• Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or Metallurgy. Post-graduate studies in Mineral Economics or MBA strongly preferred.
• Must be a Qualified Person (QP) or Competent Person (CP) under CIM guidelines/ NI 43-101.
• 12+ years in the mining industry, with 4+ years specifically in M&A, Corporate Development, or Investment Banking.
• Expertise in S&P Capital IQ and advanced financial modeling.
• Full professional English proficiency.
