A two-day beginner-friendly online course offers a step-by-step introduction to CUDA programming, core design principles, and practical GPU workflows. This event will be organized by Austrian Scientific Computing ASC on 27 and 28 October 2026.

Through lectures, demos, and hands-on labs, participants of this course will learn how to extend C/C++/Fortran code to run thousands of GPU cores in parallel and accelerate scientific computing. The event is open for anyone who wants to learn CUDA programming, including students, researchers, and professionals from academia, industry, and public administration. A new National Competence Center Sweden (ENCCS) webinar will explore how Julia can be used in time-critical environments where timing constraints and resource management are key design considerations. The webinar will be held on 29 October 2026.

The programming language Julia has attracted significant attention in scientific and technical computing because it combines the expressiveness of a high-level language with the performance traditionally associated with compiled languages. While many discussions focus on raw ex*****on speed, real-world engineering systems often require more than performance alone. Unlocking HPC Performance with AMD Tools and GPUs

A three-half-day online program for scientists, researchers, and practitioners who want to port, optimize, and profile their code on AMD systems will be held from 4 to 6 November 2026.

The three half-day program is co-organized by AMD, NCC France (CC-FR), and CASTIEL3 within the EuroCC project. It combines introductory and advanced topics with hands-on exercises, helping participants learn to port, optimize, and profile scientific applications on AMD CPU and GPU systems. By pairing expert guidance with practical exercises, the program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to use AMD CPUs and GPUs effectively for high-performance computing workloads.

Decode Like a Cat: An Introduction to QEC with Cat Qubits

An online session on the basics of quantum error correction will be organized by the Competence Center for HPC, HPDA, AI, and Quantum Computing, France (CC-FR), in partnership with the Teratec initiative TQCI, on 3 November 2026.

The event is part of the Quantum in Practice series, a continuing program of technical training sessions dedicated to exploring the technologies, tools, and real-world applications shaping today’s quantum-computing ecosystem.

Each session features a leading quantum technology provider who presents their platforms, showcases demonstrations, and guides participants through practical exercises that illustrate how quantum computing can be applied to industrial and scientific challenges.

ONLINE TRAINING: OpenMP GPU Programming with AMD

The High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS), in cooperation with AMD and the Max Planck Computing and Data Facility, will organize an online training course, Introduction to OpenMP Offloading with AMD GPUs on HLRS's Hunter and Herder systems. The course will be held on 27–28 October 2026.

This training will introduce participants to AMD Instinct GPUs and Accelerated Processing Units (APUs), as well as OpenMP offloading techniques for accelerating computation on heterogeneous high-performance computing (HPC) systems. It will cover unified shared memory, explicit data management, asynchronous offloading, and tools for performance analysis and code optimization.

EuroHPC AI Factories Calls: Overview, Evaluation Process and Success Stories

A User Forum webinar exploring the growing network of EuroHPC AI Factories, future AI Gigafactories, and associated AIF Antennas across Europe, as well as an overview of the available access tracks for SMEs and academia, will be organized by the Coordination Group of the EuroHPC User Forum and the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking on 4 November 2026.

400 students. Four cohorts. One shared European ambition.

On 7 October, over 40 representatives from consortium partners gathered at the University of Luxembourg for the kick-off of EUMaster4HPC Phase 2, marking a new step towards educating Europe’s next generation of HPC talent.

Building on the pilot phase, the project aims to educate 400 students across four cohorts, expanding its curriculum with two new specialisations in and , alongside the four specialisations already existing.

The project will also open calls for additional universities to join as awarding universities, growing the network from 9 to up to 12 by the end of the project.

SAIFA TALKS: Distributed Cloud/Edge AI for Connected Robotics

The Serbian Artificial Intelligence Factory Antenna is excited to launch SAIFA Talks, a new webinar series that explores emerging technologies, innovative applications, and the latest advances in artificial intelligence.

The series aims to bring together researchers, industry professionals, technology developers, and AI enthusiasts to exchange knowledge, share practical experience, and explore opportunities for collaboration across the Serbian and European ecosystems.

The inaugural webinar will explore how the evolution of 6G networks, artificial intelligence, and edge-cloud computing is transforming robotics by enabling intelligent machines to operate in interconnected computing environments. EuroHPC JU Celebrates the Third Cohort of EUMaster4HPC Graduates

Luxembourg - 38 students from the third cohort of the , the Master in High-Performance Computing ( ) sponsored by JU were delivered their certificates during a ceremony at the Belval Campus of the University of Luxembourg.

Students representing 12 different nationalities have spent the last two years developing their skills and knowledge in a multidisciplinary, pan-European learning environment.

The ceremony marked the occasion to celebrate the students' accomplishments, and underscore Europe's efforts to provide the next generation with the necessary skills to drive future technological and digital excellence.

Today, 38 students from the third cohort of the EUMaster4HPC, the Master in High-Performance Computing sponsored by EuroHPC JU were delivered their certificates during a ceremony at the Belval Campus of the University of Luxembourg.
