A Serbian defense company, PR-DC, has developed a new unmanned system known as the IKA-ROCKET, a hexacopter drone capable of launching unguided aircraft rockets. The drone is designed to remain stable while firing rockets both in hover and forward flight, offering a compact platform that combines reconnaissance and strike capabilities in a single system.
According to reports, the platform can carry and fire up to three standard 57mm aircraft rockets, providing a relatively low-cost aerial strike option against ground targets. The system is also designed with modular configurations for different missions, highlighting the growing trend of adapting multi-rotor drones for light strike roles in modern military operations. The development was reported by Militarnyi.
