My best ideas don’t show up at my desk. They show up when I’m moving. 🏃‍♂️

So I started doing this: I open ChatGPT or Claude and just talk (no typing). Quick voice brain dump while the idea is fresh.

Then I tested something else: voice-to-text tools like Wispr Flow and Willow Voice that “clean up” your speech before it goes to AI.

Big question: do you get better results speaking directly to ChatGPT/Claude… or speaking into a voice tool first, then pasting?

Quick test:

✦ Say the same idea into ChatGPT/Claude → ask for a structured draft

✦ Say it into a voice tool → paste into ChatGPT/Claude → same request

✦ Compare: which needs less editing?

Also: noise + accent matters. And for now it’s mainly desktop/iOS (no Android app yet).

Funny part: my brain dumps are often in Papiamentu, and I still get solid output in English/Dutch/Papiamentu.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗮 (𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻)?

2 weeks ago, I joined the SVB Moving Forward walk. At the starting line, it was packed, people bumping into each other, everyone moving slowly. That’s the first year of entrepreneurship: crowded, overwhelming, hard to find your rhythm.

But as the kilometers (years in this post) passed, the road opened up. By year 2 or 3, you’ve learned how to pace yourself, adapt, and navigate the crowd. Fewer bottlenecks, fewer distractions.

Some people try shortcuts...they push, they cheat the pace. And yes, they get ahead for a moment. But as the years pass, you catch up. Why? Because you’ve built consistency, resilience, and the mindset to go the full distance.

By year 7 or 8, the road is clearer. The noise fades, and you move with quiet confidence, fully in charge of your own pace. This is when true growth begins.

And remember...every journey has its own timeline. For some it’s five years, for others 10 or 15. Colonel Sanders, the founder of KFC, didn’t see real success until more than 20+ years after he started.

The lesson? Time is not the measure, persistence is.

That walk reminded me that business isn’t about sprinting to the front. It’s about showing up, step after step, year after year. The road clears for those who keep going. 🚶‍♂️💡

Keep walking. Keep building. Your finish line is waiting.
