With extreme heat increasing the risk of fires, we used our Indi programming knowledge to help raise awareness and teach children about fire safety. 🔥🚒

Through hands-on learning, children worked on number identification, recognised different types of fire-fighting equipment, built their own fire fighting vehicle, and explored the important role firefighters play in keeping our communities safe.

Using coding and problem-solving skills, they programmed their Indi robots to navigate a course and knock down “fires,” simulating a fire rescue mission. This engaging activity combined STEM learning with real-world safety awareness, helping children develop their programming, critical thinking, and teamwork skills while learning valuable fire safety concepts.

Learning through play, creating future problem-solvers, and building awareness one robot at a time! 🤖🔥

Messy play magic! 🍦🧪✨

Our little scientists got hands-on exploring mixtures, textures and states of matter as we created a cloud dough slime-like mixture and turned it into delicious pretend ice cream! 🍨

The fun didn’t stop there… our children programmed the robots to travel around the neighbourhood just like an ice cream van delivering sweet treats! 🤖🚐🍦

So much creativity, experimenting, problem solving and sensory fun all in one session! 💫

Understanding how something works isn’t just about learning it — it’s about creating, testing, and innovating.

Our 8+ students followed the full design engineering process to design, build, test, and improve their very own steady hand game. Using a micro:bit, they programmed their game on to buzz and count every time contact was made.

That moment when their code came to life was the ultimate “aha!” moment — and we loved seeing their excitement, problem-solving, and creativity in action.

🚦🏙️ Little city planners at work! We explored road signs, road safety, and the important places that make up a community. From designing stop signs 🎨🛑 to building schools, hospitals, shops, and police stations with LEGO Duplo 🏫🏥🚓, the children worked together to create an amazing city connected by roads.

The highlight? 🤖 Programming our robots to travel through the city and visit each location! A fantastic session full of teamwork, creativity, coding, and collaboration. 🌟
