Exciting progress on site as the structural system of this residential project takes shape. The composite frame—combining reinforced concrete elements with steel members—is now clearly visible, showcasing both efficiency and structural performance.

The slab formwork and temporary shoring are in place, supporting the construction of the upper level while ensuring stability and safety throughout the process. The integration of steel columns within the concrete framework allows for greater flexibility in design, improved load distribution, and optimized construction time.

At this stage, precision is everything—from alignment and leveling to proper load transfer through the temporary supports. Every detail contributes to the integrity of the final structure.

Our office is proud to contribute to the structural design of this reinforced concrete residential development currently under construction in Zakaki, Limassol.

The project consists of a multi-storey reinforced concrete frame designed with strict adherence to modern structural engineering principles and Eurocode standards. Particular attention has been given to the foundation system and reinforcement detailing to ensure optimal load transfer, structural integrity, and seismic performance, considering the seismic conditions of Cyprus.

The construction phase currently underway includes the ex*****on of heavily reinforced foundation elements, column starter cages, and structural slab reinforcement, all designed to provide a robust structural backbone for the building.

Through close collaboration with the contractor and continuous technical supervision, our team ensures that the structural design is implemented with precision, maintaining the highest standards of safety, durability, and construction quality.

Steel Billboard Structure

Our office, P. Papacosta & Associates LLC, successfully completed the structural design and supervision of this 11 m elevated steel billboard structure installed above an existing low-rise building in an urban environment.

The project required careful structural assessment and engineering coordination due to the installation of a large-format advertising panel supported on a steel tower founded on the existing reinforced concrete roof structure. Special attention was given to wind loading, structural stability, and load transfer to ensure the safe performance of the structure under extreme weather conditions.

The steel frame was designed to provide high rigidity and durability, while minimizing additional loads on the existing building. The project included detailed analysis of the supporting structure, anchorage system, and foundation connections, ensuring full compliance with Eurocode requirements and local regulations.
