Skin cancer is one of the most widespread forms of cancers and considering the global climate changes nowadays the incidents are increasing exponentially. Most people are not aware about the symptoms of skin cancer and more importantly about the factors that cause it. According to the World Health Organisation the factors lie within individuals responsibility and raising awareness about this issu
e can prevent up 2 million occurrences of skin cancer every year. Our vision is to create a mobile platform capable of extracting characteristics of a user's skin mole, analyse it and identify whether is dangerous or not. Additionally we aim to provide features such as automatic mole detection, comparison and sharing with doctor. Last but not least, our team will try to raise awareness about skin cancer by providing case studies, information about symptoms and factors through the application, on line and campaigns.
