A big thank you to our interns, Rafaelia Alexandrou and Georgios Markoulidis, for surviving the full V. G. Freyia Labs Ltd experience. 💻

During their time with us, they stepped into the shoes of software developers, explored how a DeepTech startup actually builds technology and even tried their hand at coding 🥵.

We hope Freyia Labs gave you valuable hands-on experience, new skills and a glimpse into startup and software development life, all within a friendly and supportive team environment Paul Adrian, Peter Anders Hvass, Vas Joseph, Greta Skemaite.

🚀 Throwback to July!

Our Co-Founder and CPO/COO, Vas Joseph, was invited to take part in the BIP EUC Startup Academy & Competition: Summer School for Future Founders at European University Cyprus, organised within the framework of the SUNRISE Alliance. 🎓🌍

Vasilis had the opportunity to share the Freyia Labs story and some of the lessons we have learned along the way while building a DeepTech startup. 💡🚀

From turning an idea into something that can be tested, to listening to customers, adapting, solving problems and learning from what does not work, entrepreneurship is a continuous process of discovery. 🧭📈

It was great to share this experience with 55 students from eight European countries who spent the week developing ideas, testing solutions, creating prototypes and preparing their final pitches. 🤝💬

Thank you to European University Cyprus and the SUNRISE Alliance for inviting Freyia Labs to contribute to the programme and support the next generation of founders. 🙌✨

They have joined us to learn, contribute, ask smart questions and find out how quickly “just one small task” can become an entire afternoon. 😵‍💫

Beyond their skills and curiosity, we are especially grateful for the beautiful minds, fresh perspectives and positive energy they bring to Freyia Labs every day. 🤩

Supporting them is our developer Paul Adrian, who has their backs, helps them navigate the codebase and makes sure every challenge becomes a learning opportunity, not a crisis.. 😎

We are pleased to share that our co-founder and CEO, Greta Skemaite, has been selected for the inaugural IN TECH ® Global Entrepreneurship Camp 2026. 🔝 👠

As part of the programme’s first-ever cohort, Greta will join women entrepreneurs and technology leaders working to strengthen their businesses, develop their leadership capabilities and create meaningful impact through innovation. 📈

For Freyia Labs, this is a valuable opportunity to gain new perspectives, strengthen our entrepreneurial and commercial capabilities, and connect with an international community of women building technology-driven companies.

As we continue developing governed, software-first systems for fermentation-led food and beverage production, programmes like this provide valuable knowledge, networks and practical support for the next stage of our development.

We look forward to the programme beginning on 14 July and to the opportunities, learning and collaborations ahead.

We are pleased to see the beginning of the MassChallenge 2026 programme and to be part of this international community of founders, mentors, partners and innovators.

Vas Joseph represented Freyia Labs at the MassChallenge bootcamps in the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

It was a valuable opportunity to strengthen our thinking, learn from experienced mentors and fellow founders, and continue developing Freyia Labs alongside 72 startups selected through a highly competitive process.

Thank you to the MassChallenge team, partners and mentors for supporting early-stage founders and creating the space for practical learning, honest discussion and international collaboration.

We look forward to the next stages of the programme.

Freyia Labs was proud to be represented at Viva Technology 2026 in Paris by our co-founder CPO/COO, Vas Joseph, as part of the Cyprus delegation 🇨🇾

It was a privilege to contribute to the first joint participation of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry at VivaTech and to present Freyia Labs at one of the world’s leading technology and innovation events 🚀

We greatly appreciated the organisation, support and cooperation provided by the Trade Centre of the Embassy of Cyprus in Paris and the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry. We also thank the Ίδρυμα Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας/Research and Innovation Foundation for sharing this opportunity with Cyprus’s startup and innovation community.

Initiatives like this help strengthen the international visibility of Cypriot startups and create further opportunities for collaboration, investment and participation across the wider European and international innovation ecosystem 🌍🤝

It has already been a month since Summit Limassol, but the experience still feels very real. 🚀

Our Co-Founder and CEO, Greta Skemaite, pitched Forsetix (FiX) on the rotating Big Dome Stage. Pitching while the entire stage was moving was a genuinely unusual and slightly crazy experience, and certainly one we will remember.🔄

At the same time, our CTO, Anders Hvass, delivered his speech on the Arcade Stage
