How much space does energy flexibility actually need?

Less than you might think.

A behind-the-meter 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (BESS) can start from the footprint of roughly two standard parking spaces — while adding an entirely new layer of flexibility to an industrial energy system.

Depending on the site and market, BESS can help businesses:
▪️ reduce costly demand peaks
▪️ increase self-consumption of on-site solar
▪️ shift electricity consumption across price periods
▪️ participate in energy and flexibility markets

Before investing in new heating infrastructure, understand what your facility actually needs.

Heat as a Service offers a different approach: the energy system is financed, designed, built and operated by an energy partner under a long-term contract.

At Juteks, a 1,030 kW heat pump recovers energy from the technological cooling process, reducing annual natural gas consumption by up to 70%.

At Grand Hotel Bernardin, seawater is used as an energy source for heating, cooling and hot water, reducing annual energy costs by 40% and increasing the renewable energy share from 51% to 81%.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆

We have successfully completed a 300.3 kWp rooftop solar PV project at Henkel Romania's Pantelimon facility, helping bring more renewable energy directly to industrial operations.

Designed and delivered under a turnkey EPC model, the system is expected to generate 344.1 MWh of renewable electricity annually, avoiding approximately 59.5 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year while supporting Henkel's sustainability ambitions.

This project demonstrates very well how on-site solar can help manufacturers strengthen energy resilience and reduce their environmental footprint through practical, reliable solutions.

Summer sun is slowly starting to shine on Agro Levin, one of our largest ground-mounted solar PV projects in the Czech Republic.

With an installed capacity of 7.5 MWp, the project quietly turns sunlight into clean electricity day after day, season after season.

Less CO₂, more go! 🏃

Yesterday, part of the Resalta team in Slovenia laced up and took on the 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻, running along the Slovenian coast, with the Adriatic on one side and a lot of determination on the other.

We spend our days helping companies cut energy costs and reduce emissions. Turns out we take the mission home with us too.

The t-shirts said it best. Less CO₂, more go. Powered by savings - and apparently also by adrenaline and some serious team spirit. 💚

Huge congratulations to everyone who ran. You made us proud (and slightly out of breath just watching).

Poland’s largest public building retrofit project has launched 📢

Last week marks an important milestone — not only for the City of Gorzów Wielkopolski, but for the development of performance-based energy renovation in Poland.

15 public buildings — including schools, kindergartens and municipal facilities — 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗘𝗣𝗖 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀.

In this initiative, Resalta provides long-term structuring and financing, enabling the city to modernise infrastructure without upfront capital burden, while GRESCO HOLDING acts as the local ESCO partner responsible for implementation.
