Hidden in the mountains of North Bohemia, the glassworks of Novosad & Son in Harrachov is the oldest continuously operating glass factory in the region – founded more than three centuries ago. 💁🏻‍♀️

To this day, it combines age-old techniques with modern artistry, producing glassware that has travelled from small workshops to the world stage. At the Czech Pavilion, visitors can sip wine and water from Harrachov glasses, experiencing a piece of Czech history in every detail ✨.

Each item carries the spirit of its makers: patient, precise, and deeply rooted in tradition. In Osaka, this living heritage reminds us how Czech glass continues to inspire across centuries.

We’re proud to serve our drinks in elegant glassware from Harrachov Glassworks, the oldest continuously operating glassworks in Bohemia, founded before 1712. 🍷🇨🇿

At EXPO 2025, presents a unique collection of drinkware, created in collaboration with world-renowned bartender Erik Lorincz and designer Ivana Müllerová. This exclusive set of cocktail glasses, designed specifically for the rooftop bar of the Czech National Pavilion, combines functionality with aesthetics, featuring meticulous handcrafting and innovative details.

Visitors can enjoy their beverages from these authentic Czech glasses, adding an extra layer of elegance and tradition to the experience.

EXPO 2025 has already started in Ósaka, Japan.

The cocktail glasses for the rooftop bar were provided by the Novosad & Son Glassworks and Microbrewery in Harrachov. Designer Ivana Müllerová worked together with bartender Erik Lornicz on the design of more than 1,500 glasses for pavilion visitors. “At the Expo in Osaka, we will present Harrachov as a leading producer of hand-shaped glass, and at the same time, we want to introduce Japanese visitors to our town as a unique tourist destination, where they can explore both the history and present of Czech glassmaking,” said the glassworks owner Petr Novosad in a press release.
