The MTR cutting laser, with a working area of 2500 x 1300 mm, is equipped with a Raycus laser source delivering 1.5 (or 6.5) kW of power. From delivery to precision cutting: how preparation elevates performance

Every fiber laser from Agile Manufacturing GmbH is introduced to your facility only after a fully controlled, automated preparation and calibration process, designed to guarantee performance, reliability, and safety from day one.

What happens before the laser is commissioned
1. Mechanical setup
The laser unit is positioned (often with a forklift and built-in wheels), secured, and connected to power, gas lines, and network infrastructure
2. Laser-head alignment & nozzle installation
Specially trained technicians install cutting nozzles (both single and double types included) and perform precision alignments. These steps ensure accurate beam focus and gas flow, critical for high-quality cuts.
3. Automated calibration routines
Using dial indicators and automated software routines, the system calibrates nozzle height, beam alignment, and material-specific focus settings—mechanically validating each axis to micrometer precision.
4. Data upload & material setup
Operators upload the design file, the system suggests ideal nozzle and power settings tailored to material and thickness, then verifies correct configuration before cutting commences.
5. Operator training & commissioning
